The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the registration process for NEET UG 2024 on February 9, 2024. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024 through the official NTA NEET website at neet.ntaonline.in.
The last date to apply for NEET UG 2024 is March 9, 2024.
Eligible candidates include those who have appeared for the Class 12 board examination and either passed or are awaiting results. However, candidates who have completed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates are not eligible.
The NEET UG 2024 exam is scheduled for May 5, 2024, with a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes. The test pattern comprises four subjects, each with two sections. Section A has 35 questions, while Section B has 15 questions, from which candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions, maintaining the total number of questions and time utilization.
The NEET UG application fee varies based on categories: ₹1700 for General/NRI, ₹1600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL, and ₹1000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender. Payment must be made online, and candidates can find additional details on the official NTA NEET website.

Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) - 2024 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET
Submission of the Online Application Form may be done by accessing the NTA website https://exams.nta.nic.in/NEET. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians' only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
